• Deposit
We require a nonrefundable and nontransferable deposit on the placement of an order for all cakes, which is deducted from the final balance due upon pick up or delivery of the cake.
•Final Payment
We don’t accept Checks, be sure to have the exact amount due upon delivery, our drivers may not carry change.
• Cancellations and Refunds
Deposits are nontransferable and nonrefundable. If an order is canceled, the deposit will be forfeited. Once delivery is accepted or cake/s collected, no refunds will be issued.
•Changes
Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.
•Delivery
There is an additional cost for delivery and setup. Yessie’s Cakes is not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete. Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table and optimal room temperature of 23˚ degrees or below. Yessie’s Cakes is not responsible for any damage to the cake, or shortage of cake, caused by a guest, caterer, waiter, staff member, or any other person not employed by Yessie’s Cakes.
• Picking Up
If you or your representative-elect to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Yessie’s Cakes possession. Yessie’s Cakes is not responsible for any damage to the cake, or shortage of cake, caused by a guest, caterer, wait staff member, or any other person not employed by Yessie’s Cakes.
• Pick up time frame
Saturdays are very busy for us, Yessie’s cakes has a specified customer pick up time from 10am to 3pm. All cakes must be picked up by the customer during this time frame. If you will be later than 3pm, we suggest calling for delivery service.
•Fresh Flowers
Please be advised that fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants. Yessie’s Cakes cannot be held liable for any reactions caused.
• Allergens
Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions. Please be aware that although these ingredients can be removed from the cakes, products are made in a kitchen where allergens are used and as such we cannot guarantee that any of our cakes are completely free of all traces for people who are highly sensitive. Yessie’s Cakes cannot be held liable for any allergic reactions
• Design
We try our best to fulfill the desires of our clients as we understand them. It is important to remember that we are dealing with food and art and no two products are truly ever the same. There are times when we will need to make decisions during the process of creation that may affect the style of decoration, proportion or structure of the product.
Colors can be subjective, and it is vital that clients wishing for exact color matches provide color samples and discuss the desired colors when ordering their cake. Regarding ribbon, we will do their best to match samples provided but are limited by the options available.
I am not liable for any harm caused by eating plastic accessories, post pickup damage, and allergic reactions.
• Photography
We will photograph our cakes and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
Performance of this agreement is contingent upon the ability of Yessie’s Cakes to complete the agreement and is subject to labor disputes or strikes, accidents, Acts of God, and other causes beyond our control.
